If you want a better life, at Cenikor you can get the tools needed to have a better life. It's simple, but you have to want it.

This place is a therapeutic community ran by convicts in the convict way. It’s definitely not a program for everyone. If you are hopelessly lost in drug addiction and can’t, for the life of you, make any kind of positive progress then this place would be excellent for you. However, if you know how to get your life straight and can actually do it and maintain it, I highly, HIGHLY recommend you do that instead of thinking about enrolling in this program.

For all these people posting negative reviews, you either didn’t go to Cenikor, or you did and you didn’t graduate. This place saved my life. They gave me the tools I needed to live a normal life. By the time I graduated I had a car, an apartment, a place to live, and established a 2 year work history. There is no slave labor, you work for your recovery and it pays for your food, clothes, hoousing, fuel for transportation, and staff salaries. There is no cursing, you actually get in trouble for that. You get plenty of sleep unless you’re just a lazy pos. It builds character, and instills a strong work ethic because you have to get off your butt and go to work 5-6 days a week. How is that any different than normal life? If you’re considering going here, it’s going to be the hardest, most worthwhile experience of your life if you were anything like me. Please don’t listen to all the negative reviews from the weak people who couldn’t make it. They are just resentful and bitter. This place honestly saved my life, and I was a 15 yr heroin addict. It’s not 12 step, it’s not christian or faith based. Cenikor teaches you to stop making excuses and to depend on yourself. So if you want that type of treatment this place is not for you. If you’re ready to change your life, this is it.

Now my story is long but I will keep it short. I entered the program the last year they had the haunted house in the Kimbell Art Museum next door. I was sent there because I had numerous dirty UAs on probation! I was court-ordered but yet not forced to stay there you're there on your own will I did not graduate the program. They can't even acknowledge my existence because I'm considered someone that left the program or kicked out. But let me tell you something I picked up a lot of things from this place.It changed my life! My job there was working in a sheet metal place called Encompass Dallas back in 2001 and to this day I do heating and cooling! I have a sister that is in a situation I used to be in and I want her to come here. This is a tough program and yes people do do things here but trust me when found out they deal with it. Much Love Cenikor! "Who are we?" "Orientation motivation!" What do we do?" knock out drugs!,what do we use rules and tools . Yeah baby I still remember the Cenikor philosophy also! Don't ever be scared to send someone here because it is a Behavior Modification Program not a 12 step or non of that.

This place is truly awesome. I cannot tell you how impressed I am with the changes that I have witnessed in my son's overall behavior. His entire outlook on life has changed and he truly loves it here. He is talking about his future, and going to college and actually having goals now . Thank you so much for helping him get his life together.

My daughter is so much better and happier thanks to cenikor to help her the center of the core of her problem 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏👍

Im a graduate of the program in houston. Re lapsed and went back for six months. It's a great program if u wanna change if u dont maybe it's not. Ive been an addict for 15 years an im only 30. Today I am clean I would not be if it wasnt for cenikor. Alot of pussys post about how much it sucks and how hard it is. Well keep getting high an u will get to vist tdcj. I tried that too and it sucked alot more than cenikor. So if you really wanna change try it if not then dont!

My daughter has been there for over 90 days and after many other rehabs stays, this one is the one that is going to get her life back on track. Great program, great food, jobs, transportation, and fun..She has been able to do more things on the group outings that she would have never been able to do in her drug induced life style, for instance, going to the Cowboy Church in the stock yards and seeing the historical beauty that she never saw before due to being under the influence..I would highly recommend Centikor for any one who is ready for change...this place has been a true blessing for me and my family!
