The Liberty House is an excellent place for veterans to stay to get their life back together... The staff are very professional and helpful in directing you to great resources. And, I love the kitchen crew they are polite and. very respectful.

MHMR ICARE is assistance for "real people" with disability issues. The individual with disability "must voluntarily participate" and sign up for help. The criterion for providing services is rigorous and undesirable. The individual is passed from one, sometimes dedicated, clerical staff to another to complete registration forms for services. The indigent are expected to come back repeatedly for the next battery of processing and do the shuffle from one person to the next. The final result is services available for the indigent (i.e. health, food, temporary shelter, clothing and sometimes a palette to sleep on). The indigent are in constant survival mode. There is little respite and it is worse than "... survival of the fittest". Undesirables not rehabilitated, drug cartel lackeys and lords (with a very small "s") to name a few abuse the homeless, mentally ill, and others in horrible life threatening situations. There is a path of intelligence created for genuine Souls working to uplift the down trodden. These genuine Souls are found in every sector of the disenfranchised including undesirables. It takes more than a village to raise up the disenfranchised. It takes a nation and it goes beyond fortitude and faith. It takes a rare individual to serve and to receive. The greatest gift humanity has is preservation for individual rights.
